Professional actor, musician, composer and founding member of Humber River Shakespeare Company, Hugh Barnett was the researcher & co-creator of the theatrical and musical component for the Humber River’s 10th anniversary as a designated heritage river celebration at Etienne Brûlé Park last year. Hugh with other guest speakers will weigh in on this controversial topic and attempt to settle once and for all the legend of Etienne Brûlé and his stake in the early European history of King.

Internationally acclaimed sculptor, Richard Serra regards “Shift”, created in 1971/2, as one of his seminal works. It is located on land near King City, and is of breathtaking scope. Heritage King and ASK Members, Fiona Cowles and Elaine Robertson will discuss Serra’s art and Elaine’s meetings and conversations with him.
