The Craft of Blacksmithing (BEG, CH)

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. OR in the evening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
$50 members, $55 non members (materials included)
Local craftsman and volunteer Pioneer Village Blacksmith, Bob will demonstrate this vanishing craft – the fundamental processes used in making things from the “black” metal. Using tongs you will pick up a piece of red-hot steel and hammer out your very own hook or poker. This art dates back to the time of the Pharohs.
