Multimedia Film Festival  York Region Winners
7 p.m. King City Library.  No charge.
Michael Bowe, Chair and Founder of the Multimedia Film Festival of York Region will show some winners of this year’s documentary films.  There are four categories – professional, all inclusive, secondary/youth (14-18) and Elementary/children (6-13).  Films run from 6 seconds to 34 minutes and explore the diverse cultural identities & social issues across our region.

7 p.m. at Schomberg Library.  No charge.
Decades after Jackie Kennedy Onassis’s death, she remains an icon of style and elegance throughout the world. Jackie’s extremely personal and distinctive imprint dominated every aspect of her life. The film also explores the power of the media in the 60′s showing how history and television turned Jackie into one of the most powerful and memorable media celebrities of the modern age

The Premiere of KING – An Exploration of a Township and its People will be held at the Country Day School Theatre (13415 Dufferin Street, King City) at 7:00 pm on Saturday, February 20th, 2010
