Fundraiser Concert for Haiti a Big Success!

Saturday’s Fund Raising concert was just great. We had many different bands to please any taste. Hugh Barnett not only had come up with a great idea, but also did a wonderful job in selecting the musicians. Well done Hugh!

A big Thank You to all who came, who volunteered, who gave donations (deserts, coffee, water, flowers etc) and who indirectly supported this event. We believe over 100 people participated (even though we had not the nicest weather and the Olympic games were on). With the entrance fee of only $ 10.00 we were able to generate $ 1,765.64. 100% of funds raised will be given to the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund.

May there be no disasters anymore, but hopefully many joyful opportunities to gather and listen to music and have fun.
