Explore the many techniques to achieve a bright, realistic floral from a reference photograph. Marianne will demonstrate a complete painting, step by step and will provide lots of individual assistance as you paint your own.

Marianne will demonstrate her methods for a loose realistic landscape in acrylics. You will learn many essential acrylic techniques and receive one on one attention as you create your own painting from a selection of reference shots provided.

Mary is an instructor with the internationally acclaimed Rufus Porter Museum in Maine. You will create a beautiful Porter Style painting on a prepared floorcloth and learn how to prepare your own floorcloth for future endeavours.

Traditional Stroke Painting (BEG, CH)

Using modern materials, students will recreate the strokes and designs of the past on a reproduction ‘antique’ bun bowl. Some experience helpful but not necessary. The basic strokes will be taught in advance so the student will feel confident painting on the bowl.
