‘SPRING BLOOMS’ pop-up art show and sale
Saturday, May 24, 2025, 9am – 1pm, King Heritage & Cultural Centre, 2920 King Road, King City
Arts Society King (ASK) is thrilled to partner with the Nobleton King City Garden Club (NCKGC) to present Spring Blooms, a one-of-a-kind event that celebrates creativity and nature.
This delightful pop-up art show and sale will take place inside the beautifully restored Laskay Hall, a charming venue full of character and history, while outside, a vibrant plant sale will bloom into life. Together we will attract and welcome a broad audience and deliver an exceptional event. ASK will manage our artists and the art show and sale and the Horticultural Society will manage their members, plant sales, display of plants, etc. There is access and flow to both set-ups.
A limited number of artists will be accepted. Artists can submit up to 5 pieces each and we ask that you consider the audience and provide a variety of sizes and price points. Art cards sell very well at this event. ASK will track sales through our Square Point of Sale system and cash & carry. Accepted artists will drop off their artworks, etc. the week prior to the event and pick up any unsold artworks, etc. the afternoon or the week after the event. The artist does not need to be present at the event.
Applications will be accepted based on compliance with theme and all requirements and available space.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Art can be in any medium or style, and must be themed to reflect the show ‘Spring Blooms’
- This is best described as images or paintings or items that are of flowers, botanicals etc.
- All art must be original and of professional quality, properly labelled with prices
- Please email two images with your application for marketing purposes
- Art must be delivered to ASK on or before May 22 and picked up on or before May 28
The deadline to apply is May 12, 2025.
