The Art Lab Workshop Series: Michele Van Maurik

Michele Van Maurik is an internationally recognized Canadian best known for her hyper realistic, luminous and larger than life florals. Her awards include the Vermeil Medal and Argent Medal for excellence in painting from Arts, Sciences and Letters Academy of Paris, 1st Place International Artist Floral Competition and 1st Place Plein Air Competition, McMichael Gallery. She was a Juried Artist, Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts, Louvres, Paris, and Juried artist, Artistes du Monde, Cannes, France. Michele judged the ASK Autumn Reflections En Plein Air contest in 2021. Explore her unique technique that she applies to diverse subjects. Details regarding what to bring re: materials and mediums will be provided for registrants.
